Reasons and such.

The reason I desided to write this blog mainly is so I can rant.
I like ranting, and it's somthing I do a lot with a lot of different people.
There's one thing I have promised myself I will do with this blog, and that is not correct mistakes I do not see first time. The reason for that becuase i have dyslexia.

Ok. Now this is where I tell you the real reason for writing this; most people think dyslexia and just go "oh you can't spell? Woop-dee-doo." It's that ignorance that really pisses me off, its the fact that no one can really be bothered actually finding out what that implies.
For me the real pain with dislexia is that I don't have a short term memory, actually I do, it's just most of the time I forget I have one, and this really kicked off half way through last year.

My best friend suffers from shizophenaanananna (I gave up on that one,) and is proberbly one of the most wonderful people you could ever meet. However combine the fact that that i spent 90% of my time last year in school with him and another friend, who has asberges syndrome (and other more interesting problems), and when you start thinking your going mad, that enviroment doesn't help.

My mother has always complained that I lose everything all the time. This got to the point that my parents attached my childhood comfiter to my sleeve so I didn't lose it. That sound like a problem lots of people have, however last year it reached the point where i would put somthing down, walk away and forget where and when I last had the object.
This is due to my dyslexia.
If you were to compair my mind to anything think of it as a film that views two seconds of film and then burns the images. I have been writing this blog for the last 10 minutes and I can't remember what I typed in paragraph above this one.

This gets very annoying, and due to my ignorance I thought that I was going completly crazy, and was actually planning going to see a doctor, untill by a small chance a friend was looking at a record of people in my year with dyslexia. This also included a list of syntoms, one of which was short-term memory.

However it's not all bad. My girlfriend finds it strange that I can hear a song twice and remember 95% of the lyrics completely.
I can remember my first day at school.
I can remember watching Seseme street.
I can remember first meeting my first friend in playschool
I can my brother getting upset when they moved his old bed into my room when I moved out of a cot.

So as you can tell, my long term has made up for my short term buggering off.
